Bold and structured since the vine; this wine was grown and made to represent the unique terroir of Ballena Valley. 2020 Sangiovese

As the sunflower turns towards the sun, our take on Italy’s most popular grape turns towards an artfully crafted board of salamis and bruschetta’s. It embodies notes of mulled cherries and oregano with medium tannin. It’s dusty nose, modest notes of red pepper flakes, and roasted San Marzano tomatoes beg to be had with any type of pizza you can find.

Alcohol 13.50%

2020 Merlot

Ignore stereotypes from 2004, glance at the color but don’t dwell. This wine isn’t for here and now, it’s for tonight. Candle light, linen table cloth, and most importantly dinner. The perfect food wine. A gentle nose reveals, light oak, pencil shavings, earthy notes and delicate red fruit. A slight decant releases medium plus tannins, balanced acidity, pomegranate, plum and a desire to be paired with savory dishes.
